The story follows Chise and Elias on an adventure where they need to accept themselves while trying to understand the emotions they were unable to feel in their pasts. Each character, scenery, soundtrack and captivating story awaken different kinds of emotions in me. I cannot explain how much I loved every single episode of this anime. If someone asks me about my top anime recommendations, I would definitely put Mahoutsukai no Yome on that list. Elias turned Chise into his apprentice, but at the same time, he told her that one day she would turn into his wife. In the auction, Chise got to meet a powerful mage who would change her fate forever, Elias Ainsworth. She thought that at least with that option, she would have a place where she could belong and feel accepted. When Chise was about to end it all, she met a mysterious businessman who convinced her to sell herself as a slave to someone willing to accept her. Submerged in a dark world, Chise was about to lose her will to live because she felt that she had nothing to fight for or continue living for. She never knew how it felt to have a family or beloved ones who she could go to for shelter and take a rest from the unfair reality.
The story revolves around Chise Hatori, a girl who has been living a life where everyone mistreats and reject her.
Here I bring a brief review about Mahoutsukai no Yome! Mahoutsukai no Yome’s Plot That is exactly what happened when I saw Mahoutsukai no Yome coming out in 2017. I do not know why, but after watching Akatsuki no Yona and Akagami no Shirayuki-Hime, when I see an anime that involves a red-haired female protagonist, I feel like I MUST watch that anime.
